This photo seminar is always again a very special highlight of the year. Because here we are not only taking pictures of purebred Arabian horses, but also of the animals of the connected zoological garden. Elephants, tigers, bisons,  gazelle, and tamed cheetahs: everything very close to the pastures of the horses. With more than 200 horses, the purebred Arabian horse stud farm Ismer is the greatest private stud farm in Europe and I am taking pictures here for more than 25 years and everytime I can find new horses and motifs.

This shooting will be very interesting, funny and spectacular and you will defintely remember it as a highlight

The purebred Arabian horses of the Ismer family and the zoological garden Ströhen, with all of his exotic animals from all over the world, like cheetahs, elephants and tigers, are offering very special motifs for a varied and challenging seminar. With more than 60 broodmares and 15 breeding stallions it is the greatest private purebred Arabian horse stud farm of Europe. The worldwide unique combination of a breeding stud farm and zoological garden fascinates visitors from all over the world.

When your eyes are looking upon a beautiful landscape, you are astonished by wild animals  and fascinated by the beauty of Arabian horses, then you are at the very special place named Ismer stud. The North-German landscape forms the amazing background of the zoological garden and stud farm with natural enclosures. Here are living more than 600 animals from all over the world and more than 200 purebred Arabian horses.

At this place a dream comes true for many horse-lovers: To get close to the most beautiful Arabian horses !

Surrounded by the zoological garden, the breeding stud farm can be visited in line with a visit of the zoological garden.

 Both, internationally known breeding stallions and broodmares together with their foals can be found in stables, but also on the wide extended pastures...

Again and again it is a very special experience to be welcomed at this idyllic stud, which sent out a very special ambiance, not at least through the heartiness of the Ismer family. Both days will spin away, spending them accompanied by all of the beautiful horses and other amazing animals in wonderful atmosphere.

Having so many capturing impressions in mind, we shouldn´t forget what the seminar is about: practical and theoretical photography! Many topics will be covered, for example taking pictures in motion, portrait photography, preparation of a photo shooting, the handling of horses, the right assessment of the lighting conditions etc...

In the theoretical parts, some basic things will be illustrated and fundamental knowledge explained. All can be later reconstructed  by an upcoming analysis of the pictures with your notebook.

All of your attention and initiative  will be demanded. Early get up in the morning will also be part of the weekend, in order to be able to take pictures at dawn of the great Arabian horse herd at their wide pastures. Adequate clothing is a must: kneeling or lying in front of the amazing motifs will be necessary. But not only the selected stallions and mares with their foals will be the highlight at these days, also the tamed cheetah brothers that have been raised by bottle and all the other exotic animals will form part of a never forgettable shooting...

Finally you will gain many practical experiences, many unforgettable impressions and hopefully full memory cards. You will also have the chance to discuss all pictures with the whole group.
